Hat Sizes

Cocktail hats, fascinators and headbands have universal fitting and will fit all head sizes. Some cocktail hats, headbands, fascinators and occasion hats fix with a hat elastic at the back of the head. I will need to know your head size so that I can adjust the length of the hat elastic.

For full size hats – cloche hats, fedora hats, beret hats – you will need to choose a size that fits your head size.Please note that the hat size should be slightly larger than your head size (circumference), usually 5-7mm or 1/4” larger.

Take a soft measuring tape and wrap it around the widest part of your head – just above the tip of the ear, over the forehead to the other side of the head and then over the widest part at the back of the head.

Do not pull the tape too tightly, it should fit around your head just the way your would like a hat to fit – not too loose and not too tight. You can insert your finger under the tape to allow some extra space when measuring.
