This is an elegant bridal pillbox hat with birdcage veil and beautiful hand made silk velvet flowers. The hat is hand blocked from wool felt using traditional millinery techniques. I have created delicate flowers from silk velvet to trim this vintage inspired design. The flowers are embellished with Swarovski pearls. I have added French veiling to give this piece a vintage touch.

Head sizes

Cocktail hats, fascinators and headbands have universal fitting and will fit all head sizes. Some cocktail hats, headbands, fascinators and occasion hats fix with a hat elastic at the back of the head. I will need to know your head size so that I can adjust the length of the hat elastic.

How to measure your head

Take a soft measuring tape and wrap it around the widest part of your head - just above the tip of the ear, over the forehead to the other side of the head and then over the widest part at the back of the head.

Do not pull the tape too tightly, it should fit around your head just the way your would like a hat to fit - not too loose and not too tight. You can insert your finger under the tape to allow some extra space when measuring.

Hand made bridal hat

This is an elegant bridal pillbox hat with birdcage veil and beautiful hand made silk velvet flowers. The hat is hand blocked from wool felt using traditional millinery techniques. Everything in this hat is hand cut, blocked, shaped and stitched. I have created delicate flowers from silk velvet to trim this vintage inspired design. The flowers are embellished with Swarovski pearls. I have added French veiling to give this piece a vintage touch. The hat is wired for extra support and lined with petersham ribbon on the inside.

The hat fixes with a hat elastic or comb and and can be worn on either side of the head.

Occasion Hat

This is an elegant hat, perfect for weddings, wedding dinner rehearsals, wedding vow renewals, Christening, Race Day Events and other festive occasions.

Colours

Off white/ milk white – please note that the felt for this hat is nor bright white, nor cream. This colour was used in the pictures of the listing.

Ivory/ vanilla – if you would prefer this colour, your hat will be made from luxurious velour felt.

Shipping & Delivery

Handling time

Most of the items in my online shop are made to order and are usually ready in 1-2 weeks, but in the busy season - April to July - it can take up to 3 weeks.

Some of the items in my online shop are ready for shipping (please see item description). These items will be shipped within 1-2 business days after receiving payment.

If you need a rush order please contact me before making the purchase and I will see how I can help you get the chosen item in time.

Delivery - Europe

Deliveries within Europe, EU usually take 5-10 business days. Deliveries outside EU - UK, Norway, Switzerland - will take slightly longer due to customs procedures. It is also possible to upgrade to express shipping via DHL or FedEx, the costs start at 35EUR. Please contact me if you need your order fast.

Delivery - USA, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong etc.

Regular mail deliveries to USA, Canada will take 2-3 weeks, FedEx delivery - 5-10 business days.

Due to COVID-19 regular mail deliveries to Australia, Hong Kong can take up to 6-8 weeks, please contact me for the rates and delivery times for Express delivery via FedEx and DHL.

Customs duties

For customers outside the EU there may be additional import charges per your government. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay any import charges/ customs duties.
