This is a beautiful hand shaped ivory velour felt cocktail hat with removable birdcage veil. The hat base is hand-shaped from velour felt using traditional millinery techniques. The hat is finished with a birdcage veil that comes as a separate item and can be removed after the ceremony. Head sizes

Cocktail hats, fascinators and headbands have universal fitting and will fit all head sizes. Some cocktail hats, headbands, fascinators and occasion hats fix with a hat elastic at the back of the head. I will need to know your head size so that I can adjust the length of the hat elastic.

How to measure your head

Take a soft measuring tape and wrap it around the widest part of your head - just above the tip of the ear, over the forehead to the other side of the head and then over the widest part at the back of the head.

Do not pull the tape too tightly, it should fit around your head just the way your would like a hat to fit - not too loose and not too tight. You can insert your finger under the tape to allow some extra space when measuring.

This is a beautiful hand shaped ivory velour felt cocktail hat with removable birdcage veil. The hat base is hand-shaped from velour felt using traditional millinery techniques. The hat is finished with a birdcage veil that comes as a separate item and can be removed after the ceremony. If you would like to purchase the hat without the veil please contact me prior to purchase.

The hat can be fixed with a comb or headband. The hat was made to be worn on the right hand side but you can wear it also on the other side of the head.

Occasion Hat

This is an elegant hat, perfect for weddings, wedding vow renewals, Christening, Race Day Events, Christening and other festive occasions.

Shipping & Delivery

Handling time

Most of the items in my online shop are made to order and are usually ready in 1-2 weeks, but in the busy season - April to July - it can take up to 3 weeks.

Some of the items in my online shop are ready for shipping (please see item description). These items will be shipped within 1-2 business days after receiving payment.

If you need a rush order please contact me before making the purchase and I will see how I can help you get the chosen item in time.

Delivery - Europe

Deliveries within Europe, EU usually take 5-10 business days. Deliveries outside EU - UK, Norway, Switzerland - will take slightly longer due to customs procedures. It is also possible to upgrade to express shipping via DHL or FedEx, the costs start at 35EUR. Please contact me if you need your order fast.

Delivery - USA, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong etc.

Regular mail deliveries to USA, Canada will take 2-3 weeks, FedEx delivery - 5-10 business days.

Due to COVID-19 regular mail deliveries to Australia, Hong Kong can take up to 6-8 weeks, please contact me for the rates and delivery times for Express delivery via FedEx and DHL.

Customs duties

For customers outside the EU there may be additional import charges per your government. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay any import charges/ customs duties.
