This is an elegant pillbox hat in latte and copper. The hat base is hand blocked from latte sinamay straw using traditional millinery techniques. I have used a beautiful pillbox hat block with sloping tip to create this headpiece. I have trimmed the hat with hand made sinamay straw leaves. The tips of the leaves are dyed copper to add a subtle metallic glow. The hat base is wired for extra strength and lined with petersham ribbon.

Description

This is an elegant pillbox hat in latte and copper. The hat base is hand blocked from latte sinamay straw using traditional millinery techniques. I have used a beautiful pillbox hat block with sloping tip to create this headpiece. I have trimmed the hat with hand made sinamay straw leaves. The tips of the leaves are dyed copper to add a subtle metallic glow. The hat base is wired for extra strength and lined with petersham ribbon.

This headpiece can be worn perching on left hand side, in this position it can be fixed with a hat elastic (recommended), set of combs or headband.

The headpiece can also be worn at the back, a la 50s style, then it can be fixed with a set of combs and bobby pins.

Shipping & Delivery

Handling time

Most of the items in my online shop are made to order and are usually ready in 1-2 weeks, but in the busy season - April to July - it can take up to 3 weeks.

Some of the items in my online shop are ready for shipping (please see item description). These items will be shipped within 1-2 business days after receiving payment.

If you need a rush order please contact me before making the purchase and I will see how I can help you get the chosen item in time.

Delivery - Europe

Deliveries within Europe, EU usually take 5-10 business days. Deliveries outside EU - UK, Norway, Switzerland - will take slightly longer due to customs procedures. It is also possible to upgrade to express shipping via DHL or FedEx, the costs start at 35EUR. Please contact me if you need your order fast.

Delivery - USA, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong etc.

Regular mail deliveries to USA, Canada will take 2-3 weeks, FedEx delivery - 5-10 business days.

Due to COVID-19 regular mail deliveries to Australia, Hong Kong can take up to 6-8 weeks, please contact me for the rates and delivery times for Express delivery via FedEx and DHL.

Customs duties

For customers outside the EU there may be additional import charges per your government. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay any import charges/ customs duties.
