This is a an elegant taupe felt pillbox hat with a contrasting knot detail. This hat is handblocked from taupe wool felt using traditional millinery techniques involving steam and wooden hat blocks. I have used a beautiful wooden hat block that is slimmer in the front and taller at the back (see last picture with side-view). The hat is trimmed with ribbon that is made from hot pink wool felt on one side an taupe leather on the other.

Description

This is a an elegant taupe felt pillbox hat with a contrasting knot detail. This hat is handblocked from taupe wool felt using traditional millinery techniques involving steam and wooden hat blocks. I have used a beautiful wooden hat block that is slimmer in the front and taller at the back (see last picture with side-view). The hat is trimmed with ribbon that is made from hot pink wool felt on one side an taupe leather on the other. The hat is entirely handsewn. It is trimmed with petersham ribbon on the inside and wired for extra support, the hat is unlined.

This hat is finished with an elastic. The hat can be worn in the centre of the head or on the side.

This hat will be perfect for a cocktail party, wedding or any other festive event.

Shipping & Delivery

Handling time

Most of the items in my online shop are made to order and are usually ready in 1-2 weeks, but in the busy season - April to July - it can take up to 3 weeks.

Some of the items in my online shop are ready for shipping (please see item description). These items will be shipped within 1-2 business days after receiving payment.

If you need a rush order please contact me before making the purchase and I will see how I can help you get the chosen item in time.

Delivery - Europe

Deliveries within Europe, EU usually take 5-10 business days. Deliveries outside EU - UK, Norway, Switzerland - will take slightly longer due to customs procedures. It is also possible to upgrade to express shipping via DHL or FedEx, the costs start at 35EUR. Please contact me if you need your order fast.

Delivery - USA, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong etc.

Regular mail deliveries to USA, Canada will take 2-3 weeks, FedEx delivery - 5-10 business days.

Due to COVID-19 regular mail deliveries to Australia, Hong Kong can take up to 6-8 weeks, please contact me for the rates and delivery times for Express delivery via FedEx and DHL.

Customs duties

For customers outside the EU there may be additional import charges per your government. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay any import charges/ customs duties.
