CARE AND SAFETY INFORMATION
General Warnings
-Keep out of reach of children and pets—small parts may present a choking hazard.
- Keep packaging, fabric components, and decorative elements away from naked flames and heat sources.
- Handle with care—each hat and headpiece is handcrafted and delicate. Treat them gently to avoid damage.
- Embellishments such as pearls, feathers, and decorative details may bend, break, or become sharp under pressure.
- Ribbons, veils, and extended decorative pieces should be worn securely to avoid strangulation risks.
Usage Guidelines
- Remove hats and headpieces before sleeping, bathing, or engaging in strenuous activities.
- Avoid direct contact with perfumes, hair products, lotions, and chemicals—apply these before wearing your accessory.
- Avoid makeup in areas where your hat or headpiece will come into direct contact with your face.
- When securing with combs, clips, Alice bands, or hat elastics, ensure they are properly fastened for comfort and stability.
- Weather matters—most hats and headpieces are not designed for rainy or extremely windy conditions.
- Felt hats can tolerate light rain or snow but should be left to dry naturally at room temperature. Do not dry them near heat sources, as this may cause shrinkage.
- Be mindful when wearing your hat—hats add extra height, so take care when entering cars or small spaces to prevent damage.
Care Instructions
- Cleaning: Hats and headpieces cannot be washed—be cautious when wearing makeup or consuming food and drinks.
- In case of a stain, gently clean with a soft, dry cloth or sponge. Felt hats can be lightly steamed and brushed with a hat brush to refresh their look.
- Veil Care: Hat veils are made from polyester and can be ironed on a low setting for synthetic fabrics. Always place a thin cotton cloth or tissue paper between the veil and the iron to avoid damage.
- Storage: Keep hats and headpieces in their original packaging in a dry, moisture-free environment. Avoid direct sunlight, as prolonged exposure may cause discolouration.
- Handle with care—delicate fabrics, flowers, feathers, and veils can snag on metal settings or embellishments.
- Avoid pulling, twisting, or excessive force on both the hat base and decorative elements to maintain the integrity of the piece.
By following these guidelines, you’ll help preserve the beauty and longevity of your handcrafted hat or headpiece.
